Stars for Stars

2023 was a stellar year for Stars of the Night!!! The book received starred reviews from Kirkus, School Library Journal, and The Horn Book Magazine. It was a National Jewish Book Award Finalist, an ALA Notable Children's Book, a NYPL Best Book for Kids, a Notable Books for a Global Society, an Orbis Pictus Recommended Book, a SLJ Best Book, and it made it onto the Texas Bluebonnet Masterlist. All of these accolades mean that this important story about the Kindertransport during WW II, and defiance in the face of tyranny will reach so many more children than it might have otherwise, which makes me very very happy.
